Progress Reports Designed for Purposeful Communication
Clearly written and organized Progress Reports are provided monthly to all stakeholders in the parents’ native language. Communication with all stakeholders is ongoing.
Frequent Monitoring to Reinforce Student Progress
The Achieve Standards –Based Test is utilized as the formal pre and post test to set goals and measure growth in reading/language arts and mathematics. Additional formative and summative assessments are administered throughout the program so that learning paths can be adjusted as necessary to help students meet their goals.
Standards-based Learning Plans to Coordinate with School Programs
Qualitative and quantitative data is utilized to develop learning plans for all students, including English Language Learners and Students with Special Needs.
A Systematic Instructional Model to Help Students Attain their Goals
Tutors begin each session by providing direct, explicit instruction. After the concept has been taught, students are provided ample time and opportunities for guided and independent practice. Research-based curriculum materials support tutors and students with a focused instructional path.
